For future reference, it is important that you avoid melting the wax directly in the wax machine. We recommend using a wax tin for your warming unit. If you’ve already committed the mistake, we recommend setting the warmer to the highest temperature possible. Upon the wax residue reaching a low viscosity point use the backside of a sponge to scrape off as much wax as possible. Then proceed to use a cleaning product such as “Goo Gone” to remove any stubborn residue remaining within your warmer.

If your wax machine is still under a 1-year warranty or an extended warranty we’ve made it easy for you to get back to your business. Simply reach out to customer service and request a return label. Upon the receipt of your faulty wax machine an assigned customer service specialist will process the replacement of your unit within 3-5 business days.
The ideal temperature setting will vary depending on the kind of wax you’re using. If you’re using wax supply’s soft wax, we recommend keeping your wax pot at a low-mid level temperature until it has reached a low viscosity. Upon the soft wax reaching a low viscosity, it is recommended to lower your temperature to a lower setting until it has reached a syrup-like viscosity. If you’re using wax supply’s hard wax, we recommend keeping your wax pot at the highest setting until it has reached a low viscosity. Upon the wax hard wax reaching a low viscosity, it is recommended to lower your temperature to a mid-level setting until it has reached a syrup-like viscosity.
We don’t recommend leaving your unit powered on for longer than 8-12 hours. Although, leaving your wax warmer turned on overnight is not a fire hazard. 
Our professional wax warmers are designed with the esthetician in mind. All of our units support the use of both: hard wax and soft wax. Please be sure to keep in mind that different formulas have different melting points. Different temperature settings will be required depending on the wax you are using.
